RN to BSN nursing completion program courses:

NUR 301: Bridge to Professional Nursing | 5 hours
NUR 405: Nursing Care in the Community | 4 hours
NUR 406: Nursing Care of Older Adults | 3 hours
NUR 410: Nursing Leadership and Management | 2 hours
NUR 413: Nursing Research | 3 hours
NUR 423: Advanced Concepts of Pathophysiology | 4 hours

NUR 405 and NUR 406 include a clinical component. NUR 301 includes a lab component.

All required nursing support courses should be completed prior to beginning the nursing plan of study and may be considered as met through individual transcript analysis. These include:

ENG 105: College Composition and Writing | 4 hours
ENG 201: Writing and Research about Literature | 3 hours
BIO 241: Anatomy and Physiology I | 4 hours
BIO 242: Anatomy and Physiology II | 4 hours
BIO 350: Microbiology | 4 hours
CHEM 105: General Chemistry | 4 hours (prerequisite for NUR 213)
MATH 171: Elementary Statistics | 4 hours (prerequisite for NUR 413)
PSYC 131: General Psychology | 3 hours
PSYC 251: Developmental Psychology | 3 hours
SOC 100: Introduction to Sociology | 3 hours
or
SOC 105: Introduction to Anthropology | 3 hours

Wesleyan Studies courses necessary for bachelor’s degree completion come from the following disciplinary pools, and may be considered met through individual transcript analysis:

Rhetorical Foundations: Include Nursing support courses above – 12 to 13 hours
Quantitative and Scientific Reasoning: Met via nursing support courses above – 8 hours
Creativity – 6 hours
Understanding Self and Society: Include nursing support courses above – 18 hours*
